About Me

Hello! I’m Pamela. A certified grief counselor serving the community in Exeter, NH.

I am an experienced mental health professional and have been counseling individuals suffering from various types of loss for over 27 years. My journey into grief and loss began at the age of 17 when I lost my mother to a massive heart attack and stayed home from college to raise my 6 younger siblings. Over the years into my early career, grief continued to find me and at the age of 40, I decided to pursue a Masters degree from California Lutheran University in Counseling Psychology. In an effort to specialize in grief and loss, I achieved a certification from the American Academy of Grief Counseling to become a Certified Grief Counselor (GC-C).

Opening my own practice in downtown Exeter, New Hampshire fulfilled one of my dreams: to host a space where someone can heal and feel safe to process their complex grief journey. Individual sessions are not what everyone needs and to meet my clients where they are at, I have worked with numerous organizations in unique ways depending on the group or individual need including Hospice Help Foundation, Steppingstones, Edgewood Centre, and many more.

Driven by the desire to guide clients along their healing journey, I strive to approach each person which a unique perspective depending on where they find themselves on their grief path. Every loss is important and can have a lasting impact. It brings me joy to know I can teach my clients how to discover their light in the darkest of times.

What I Do

Grief Stages

A person can experience several stages of grief simultaneously. Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross was a Swiss-American psychiatrist who introduced the 5 stages of grief and pioneered the concept of providing psychological counseling to the dying. She inspires my work and has revolutionized how we as mental health professionals support every client’s grieving process.
